     Samedi 14 Décembre : 

    Pour finir cette fin d'année 2019, comme à l'accoutumé nous envoyons à One Spirit, notre participation au Partenariat du "Programme Parrainage", avec la somme de  $ 455  afin que nos 7 Familles sponsorisées bénéficient du "Panier Alimentaire" d'une valeur de $ 65.
    Pour rappel, les Familles parrainées résident à Allen - Oglala - Pine Ridge - Wounded Knee.

    Nous joignons en supplément pour notre "Programme Alimentaire", le montant de  $ 1.200  pour aider environ 18 Familles de la Réserve de Pine Ridge à bénéficier elles aussi de "Paniers Alimentaires" pour une fin de mois plus douce.

     Lundi 02 Décembre : 

    Pour la 1ère fois, suite au Compte-Rendu du Voyage sur la Rez de cette année, nous décidons de nous mobiliser et de porter également notre intérêt sur l'Association "The Bear Project", soutenue par le Oglala Sioux Tribe, dont les 2 Responsables, Eileen Janis & Yvonne DeCory, gèrent le difficile Programme "Prévention Suicide des Jeunes" sur toute la Réserve de Pine Ridge.

    Pour cette première intervention auprès de "The Bear Project", nous participons pour un montant total de 1.840 €, soit  $ 2.000  répartis de la manière suivante :

    • Matériellement, Anne-Marie Leclerc, a offert le Don de 200 Livres en anglais, en provenance de sa Maison d'Édition que nous remercions chaleureusement. En tout 5 Colis ont été expédiés par Chronopost. Le coût des Frais de Port étant élevé, soit 990 €, P.R.E.S. a participé à hauteur de 600 €, et 2 généreux donateurs ont offert 90 € et 300 € pour permettre de réaliser cette opération.

    • Financièrement, en parallèle notre Président a envoyé un Don équivalent au montant de 850 € via le lien Paypal du Site de "The Bear Project".

After many personal visits to the Center, I can attest to the glaring need for a service most of us take for granted.     D'autre part, et comme au mois de Septembre, nous soutenons le "Allen Youth Center" en faisant parvenir  $ 1.000  pour l'achat de "Paniers Alimentaires" ou de Fournitures scolaires selon les besoins les plus urgents.

    Thank you for your generous donation of $1455 00 and for supporting One Spirit and the Oglala Lakota families on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
    As we approach another food delivery day, we are excited to announce our Fall harvest of pumpkins and winter squash for this cycle of the End Hunger Campaign.  Our new food distribution center in Porcupine is only weeks away from opening.  One Spirit now feeds 50-75 people a day at our Allen Youth Center, 200 per week at the Rosebud Soup Kitchen, 100 homeless people on Saturdays from the Pine Ridge Food Program, and over 600 families on the Reservation.  The list of people waiting in line at our current distribution center grows every month, and we hate to say NO.  
    We at One Spirit so appreciate your support to the Allen Youth Center  They just had a CPR class!  We are also gearing up for a Halloween party, complete wih cupcakes, trick or trick candy and prizes.  This is so important for children who usually have nothing like this.

    The annual Lakota Nation Powwow was held during the first week of August.  One Spirit was happy to have a concession there, promoting our
    Bring Back the Buffalo campaign by serving buffalo burgers, corn on the cob and lemonade.  In conjunction with our End Hunger campaign, wecontinue to promote healthy eating and popularize our local buffalo meat.
    We are pleased to announce the appropriation of a building that will serve as a central distribution location for food distribution, alongwith ground we will use for crops and hay for the buffalo.  We are grateful for your part in continuing us to move forward in a sustainable way.

    Une nouvelle année redémarre sans faiblir dans notre aide apportée au Peuple Lakȟóta, nous poursuivons notre Partenariat au "Programme Parrainage", avec l'envoi à notre Partenaire One Spirit, la somme de  $ 650  afin que nos 10 Familles sponsorisées bénéficient du "Panier Alimentaire" d'une valeur de $ 65.

    Dans le même temps, nous renforçons l'aide au "Programme Alimentaire" avec le montant de  $ 2.000  pour une distribution de 30 "Paniers Alimentaires" d'une valeur de $ 65 à destination du Centre Jeunesse Allen "Allen Youth Center". Une aide appréciée par la Communauté d'Allen, ainsi que par One Spirit qui remercie Piƞe Ridge Eƞfaƞce Solidarité pour son rôle important dans l'aide et le soutien continu qui leur permet d'atteindre leurs objectifs.
